The charitable actions of the Lambropoulos family began in the 1950s with significant donations to vulnerable groups and support for economically disadvantaged citizens, primarily in Athens. The social contribution during this period further strengthened the family’s commitment to solidarity and giving.
To this day, we have supported over 5,000 families and 200 charitable organizations, spending more than 5.5 million euros from our own funds to provide tangible assistance where needed. We ensure that every donation is made with responsibility and transparency to meaningfully improve the quality of life for those in need. 95% of our income is directly allocated to social support actions, with the revenue coming from the interest on invested capital.
The aid process involves a thorough review of medical certificates and poverty declarations to ensure that the support is directed to those who need it most.

The Board of Directors of the Initiative for the Child is pleased and satisfied to announce the continuation of its collaboration with the Demetrios and Blanche Lambropoulos Charitable Foundation, which has once again renewed its trust in our work, this time supporting the proposal “Support for the holistic operation of the Trauma Therapy Center of the Initiative for the Child” – Coordinated actions to combat child abuse in Northern Greece.
