SEMIRAMIS-MDA HELLAS-Ladies Lunch

The lunch was attended by 160 guests from MDA Hellas, who supported once again with their participation the activities of the Association. The event was attended by the Chairman of the Board of Dimitios & Blanche Lambropoulos Foundation, Ms. Xenia Lambropoulou, thus enhancing the purpose of the event as all proceeds will be allocated to the creation of a Special Neuromuscular Disease Unit for adults in a state hospital of Athens.

On the occasion of Women’s Day, the Ladies lunch of the Board of Directors of MDA Hellas (Association for the Care of People with Neuromuscular Diseases) was held at the Semiramis Hotel in Kefalari on Wednesday, March 6, 2019 at the Freud Oriental. The lunch was attended by 160 guests from MDA Hellas, who once again supported with their participation the activities of the Association.

During the event Ms. Doly Fatsea, a dermatologist and scientific director of CENEGENICS, with a brief speech, informed about the importance of Preventive Medicine and the CENEGENICS Program. Also, a lottery with many and rich gifts was held.

The special gifts of the lottery were offered by: Aegean Airlines, OsteoStrong, iSquare, Santa Marina Arahova, Cecilia Couture, Miranta’s, Ilias Lalaounis, Swarovski, Freud Oriental, Manos Gerakinis Parfums, thus enhancing the purpose of the event, as all proceeds will be allocated to the creation of a Special Neuromuscular Disease Unit for adults in a state hospital in Athens.

MDA Hellas (Association for the Care of People with Neuromuscular Disease) began its action in Greece, in January 2000, having the belief that a coordinated effort by the State, private bodies and also individual citizens could work miracles.

Today, MDA Hellas has more than 1,200 families registered all over Greece, some of which now have one member who suffers from a relevant disease. MDA Hellas does not and did not have any state subsidy throughout the course of its work. Therefore, all of our actions are implemented through awareness of private initiative.
